SOL #30 And the Day Goes By

Somehow the day goes by too fast

As a parent

There’s always something to get done

Something to do

A mouth to feed

A diaper to change

A hug to give

And then,

As my visiting friend says,

“And somehow it’s 8:55.”

At night, mind you.
